FIFTEEN MINUTES OF SHAME by Lisa Daily

Fifteen Minutes of ShameFifteen Minutes of Shame by Lisa Daily

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Yes, I think it focused a bit too much on Darby dealing with the fallout of her marriage, yes I think she was a little too obsessed with getting the kids back, but I have to say I really liked it. I would have liked her connecting with Holt a little sooner, but I think it would have made her look a little shallow and getting over her husband too easily.

I don't normally like this type of book, but this one I liked. I found myself nodding my head in agreement when Darby's rules of dating. I liked how much she loved someone else's kids and was real in her reactions to stressful situations.

It was just sweet.

I have to say it started off slow, but I really liked this book. It reminded me of the horror movies of the 80'1 and 90's, of which I'm a product.

I liked the conspiracy, the tension the horror of someone choosing greed over humanity. Although the relationship happened a little too quickly, I get it for what the story was trying to do. I actually hope there's a sequel for some reason. It was a quick, read, starting off slowly, but picked up speed pretty fast.

Fun.....
