SLAMMED by Colleen Hoover

Slammed (Slammed #1)Slammed by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Although I found moments of it to be juvenile and I don't know how people can fall in love so quickly, which may be the reason why I'm still single at my age, but these are the only reasons I'm not giving it 5. There were moments of pure hilarity, where I cried because I laughed so hard and then there were moments that were so sad where I cried as well. I haven't laughed and cried while reading a book in a long time.

Layken and Will are brought together under very sad circumstances and it doesn't seem to get better for them for a long time. I think I may be partial to this material because I'm from Michigan and can understand the dislike of the cold. The fact that Will and Layken discover why they can't be together after their first date is genius. They try to stay away from each other but just can't for many reason.

I love the relationships between their brothers. They immediately connect like only little kids can.

I thought this book was really good.
