DOUBLE TIME by Olivi a Cunning

Double Time (Sinners on Tour, #5)Double Time by Olivia Cunning
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

NetGalley free read...

Where I liked everyone else's story, I didn't like Trey's. Don't get me wrong, I still love reading about all the Sinners, but I found Trey, selfish and childish. Who pines for someone for 14 years knowing they aren't interested in you. Maybe before Brian got married, but once he made his choice and married Myrna, Trey needed to pull up his big boy underwear and get a life. I also didn't like the fact that the author made it seem like Brian loved him as much as Trey loved Brian, but made a choice to be with a woman therefore, belittling the relationship between Brian an Myrna... To me.

I didn't like the fact that Trey was using Reagan, in the beginning, to get over Brian and wasn't honest with her about his feelings. I also, don't like the fact that although he's bi-sexual, he can't be in love with one person and be monogamous. Trey says he's in love with Reagan, but he still needs a hard body. Than find a relationship with a man and not a woman, but not with both at the same time. I still think it's cheating. Maybe I'm just too conventional. I have nothing against Threesomes, but when you tell someone you love them, that should be it. I don't know, just didn't like his vibe.

Trey was never happy for the milestones in Brian's life, he was always thinking about himself. Even Myrna new that Trey was struggling and thought about him enough to ask if he was okay. But Trey only thought about what he wanted and who he wanted to the point of telling Brian after all was said and done. If he didn't have the balls to tell Brian how he felt before Brian got married and there were others on both sides of the relationship, then it was time to not speak and let it go.

It's like being so guilt ridden that you had an affair that you tell the other person. It's not for them, its for you. I just didn't like this one as much as the others.

I hope there will be books about Exodus End....
