My rating: 2 of 5 stars
NetGalley free read...
It was better than Okay, but not quite 3 stars. There were a lot of grammatical and spelling errors. I thought that Eva's back and forth as to what she was willing to give or receive was annoying and gave me whiplash.
I don't like how the book ended, because I now want to know if Alexander will forgive her or not :). I'm assuming he will, but the excitement and anxiety you get from the lust or push-pull in these types of books was slightly missing.
The only emotional pull is from the loss of her friend and the guilt you are sure she's experiencing for living and loving her life while her friend dies. I get that.
But like I said, for some reason I want to know what happens next. Not the best written book, but not the worst either.
