I thought this was a cute story. Although I though Elli has the most abusive family. I can't believe a mother would treat her own daughter the way she does, including encouraging her other daughter to sabotage her relationship. It boggled my mind. But when Hockey Player, Shea Adler comes into her life, she finds it hard to believe that someone like him would love her and be monogamous. So when her sister makes it look like the two are having an affair, Elli easily believes it.
I love how Shea did everything he could to show her that she was the one for him. I loved that her uncle and father were the only two who stuck up for her. But I don't understand why she had such a low opinion of herself when she did have these two men who had her back at every turn.
She broke Shea's heart when she believe what she thought she saw, but the best part was when she sang for him and that was something she would never do. He knew she really loved him.
