I loved how Monica kept Jonathan engaged with their relationship and fighting by telling him how things would be between them. Describing their story. And what she said to Brad when she told him "He's not some boyfriend in a line of them," just made my heart swell.

description

Monica was willing to commit the ultimate sacrifice to keep him there, even if she wouldn't be with him in the end. That's real love. To be with someone when they aren't strong enough to fight for themselves, to stand by them in their darkest hour. Monica did that and Jonathan knew he could never let her go.

Declan... Ugh. So frustrating. Just when I thought he was a decent guy by staying around, we realize he's there to negotiate for himself and play a sick joke on Monica. So twisted and I get why Jonathan can't trust him.

Jessica, was just as twisted. I have no idea why she thought it was a good idea to hurt someone close to Jonathan. To send him over the edge to get money? She told Monica she loved him once, but I don't believe that's possible.

C.D. alludes to what's going on with Theresa in this book, but she just made me want more. I have to know what's going on with her. I can't wait for Spin .
