It took me a bit to get my thoughts together to review this book. I had read so many great reviews about it and I had been going through a pretty good reading jag, so I guess my expectations were high. I was a little put out that this book wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Unfortunately, I felt there were just too many long drawn out descriptions of locations. I know every book has it and needs it so you can get a full picture in your head of what you are reading. But it just felt like there was all description and no actual action happening.
I didn't really feel any real chemistry between Gabe and Maggie, either. For someone as bright as she was, she did a lot of dumb things. Maggie's friend David was the best thing about the book. He was hilarious, but not in the story much.
I can't say I would recommend this book. I would think that if you want a quick mindless read, then maybe this book. It was just okay to me.
