My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 + Stomach Aching Hilarious Stars.
This book was hilarious. I laughed so hard in places that my stomach would hurt. The idea that this is from a man's point of view was a really smart move from the author. My only critique is that I don't believe a self appointed ladies man could fall so hard and do so many very feminine type things. But maybe that's just because I haven't met him yet :-).
I idea that Drew thought he had the flu when he was feeling emotional pain was so funny to me. Anything other than to realize that he had made a mistake and needed Kate. You could feel how he softened when he was in the presence of his niece and how kids pick up on everything you say, when she repeated the things he said. The swear jar doubled me over.
I read this book right after a very emotional series and it was the perfect thing for me. Emma Chase...write more.
