I have no complaints. I think C.D. does better in her novellas than many authors do in a full book. I just can't stop reading, because I want to know the emotional journey of these two people. Monica held her own with Jessica and I think Kevin is an emotional drain. Everything is about him and how he feels. Yes, i agree that Monica could have had a conversation with him. But, really... would he have even understood what she was saying?
When I'm caught up with the series. I'm sure I will have withdrawals until the next book is available. Although there are many other books of this type on the market, the other characters in these books are structured well and keep the story flowing. Good job Ms. Reiss. Keep them coming.
