CRAVE (Billionaire Bachelors Club, #1) by Monica Murphy

Crave (Billionaire Bachelors Club, #1)Crave by Monica Murphy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Archer Bancroft and Ivy Emerson have known each other since she was a preteen with braces. In fact Archer is one of her brother, Gage's, best friends. At the wedding of one of their friends, Archer, Gage and former baseball star turned entrepreneur Matt Deluca, form a bet that the last one of them left standing, and single, after a year would be the recipient of a million dollars from any of them who'd fallen in love and gotten married.

Archer had a distant relationship with his bickering parents and believes he's the last one to ever even consider marriage, given that the only girl he would even consider would be Ivy. But since they argue any time they are near each other and he's convinced Gage would kill him, there's not risk.... Right?

But at the wedding, during a particularly intense fight with Ivy, she and Archer take the intense feelings a little further than either of them intended, while at the wedding.

Then they go ever further when Ivy and Gage stay over night before returning home.

But when Archer tells Ivy it was a mistake, she's heartbroken ...

Archer does some stupid things to try to keep the bet from Ivy and his best friends from knowing what's happening between them, for many reasons. But can he give her up when all is said and done?

There were funny moment, and really HOT moments. There were sweet moments and sad. I liked this one. Archer treats Ivy likes she's still that bumbling little girl running after her brother and friends, calling her "Chicken" as a nick name, which makes her crazy. Ivy's been over her crush on Archer since she realized he was a serial dater with no intention of ever getting serious about anyone. And that was when she was a teenager. Once things change between them, she's more confused then ever and Archer's insecurities don't help the situation. He doesn't know how to show her how he feels about her and he does everything wrong. But, the journey is fun and sexy.
