Roman Chase one of the three Billionaire Arrogant Doms or BAD boys, which they are called in the BDSM club they frequent and secretly own, is back from a month long trip to Japan for business and where he licked his wounds over losing Elisabeth to Trevor. Now he finds he's the last of the single BAD boys, because Marc and Mistress Lauren are finally a couple. He feels left out and like a fifth wheel. That is until, while trying to help Lauren find a straight female she can dominate, he picks waitress at the BDSM club, Jessica Vaughn.
Though they invite Jessica to Roman's house for a party, which she doesn't realize is for her benefit so Lauren can approach her about being her sub, Roman soon realizes he wants her for himself. Jessica tries to be with Lauren, but knows she's only doing it to be close to Roman. With their age difference, her being twenty and he thirty-five, his friends and Jessica's parents aren't sure if they are together for the right reason.
After a little testing on Roman's part and then her parents, they realize they actually love each other.
I still can't get behind the sado masochistic side of things, it wasn't a bad read. I definitely liked it much more than the first one in the series and I haven't read the second (Marc and Lauren's story). I just don't get the whole beating aspect of it. I dont' begrudge anyone their choices, but I just cringed every time it seemed to hurt her while reading about it.
I also have to say that Roman's test was a little lame. How is two days camping a test if someone is with you for the money or not? I hate camping and wouldn't go if the person was poor or a billionaire.
But I did like it as mentioned before.
