I really liked this and for that reason alone, I'm pissed that it was a short novella. It ends on a cliff hanger and now I have to wait to find when the next books in the series will be available. UGH!
Kat is a brilliant scientist and as with many people with high IQ's, she doesn't know when someone is using her or lying to her. She's been dating Evan on the sly because there's a no fraternization rule at work. Little does she know that Evan has another secret, which prevents them from getting closer. She will find out soon enough though.
While at a conference, she drops her papers in front front of a stunning man with green eyes that draw her in immediately. Later Evan dares her to pick the guy up and then have a threesome. The sex between all of them is HOT, HOT, HOT! But it ends with the stranger, later to known as Simon, not happy with how Evan is treating Katy.
Once Katy finds out the truth about Evan, she swears off men. But not before she has one more sexual encounter with Simon before she runs away convinced that he's just another in her history of bad choices in men... But is he?
Like I said before, I'm really upset that it's not a full book and I can't finish what's happening now. I just hope that the rest will be available soon.
