RUBY (Facets of Passion #3) by Jeffe Kennedy

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

NetGalley free read

This one was better than Platinum for me. I liked that Dani was driven. I liked the risk of having a one-night-stand, that turns into a wild week and keeping your identity a mystery for, at least, part of it. But, I didn't get that Bobby was interested enough for his ultimate suggestion when her move to Paris falls through. He never seemed interested in more than the game they were playing. So why all of a sudden does he seem interested in more.

We didn't learn enough about Claire, who she was to him and why things fell apart. He didn't seem so broken up about it so why with the big gesture of burning her things?

I also didn't understand why the photos Dani sent to her boss were so terrible. Has she not looked in a magazine lately?

Ruby was a quick and lightly enjoyable read.
